Mountaineer

At 22, he became an instructor of the Catalan High Mountain School. But among his dreams was to realize his first great adventure / expedition: go climbing Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro in Africa. In 1974 he participated for the first time in the Valls-Kenya expedition, the crossing of 10 African countries with off-road vehicles, until reaching Black Africa and climbing Mount Kenya (5.200m) and Kilimanjaro (5.950m). In 2005 he won the prize assigned to him by explorersweb.com, the most important site for mountaineering outside Europe.
